Question Your Healthcare
It should be a normal practice to ask questions about your healthcare to be sure you are on the right track toward health and wellness. However, in today’s fast paced world you sometimes don’t get enough time to ask your doctor the questions that you may have. With healthcare costs rising, asking the right questions can save you time and money. It is up to you to make the time for any questions you have about your healthcare to be sure everyone is on the same page with what you’re trying to accomplish.
I recently saw a great article about 12 questions to ask before you fill a prescription (link below) but don’t forget to ask your healthcare provider about other common questions. Here are some questions I often get asked, and ones that everyone should be asking:
- Supplements & Vitamins: What you should be getting for your specifics (age, sex) and what else can be used to get help in areas you need.
- Diet: What is a proper diet and how can you start on your way toward reaching it? What kind of foods can you eat to help you with your goals?
- Exercise: What should (and can) you do for exercise based on your goals?
- Prevention: What can you do to help prevent disease and live a healthier life?
